“Things turn out the best for those who make the best of the way things turn out.”
Always a “Jane of All Trades,” Amanda has several degrees and work experiences that have provided her a wealth of knowledge in accounting, business administration, project management, and computer technology, in addition to a host of other professional talents she's gained over the years. Viridian recognized Amanda's unique skillset and realized that she was a perfect addition to their team.
You can now find Amanda with her nose buried deep in the data, creating meaningful reports that give other managers and employees the tools they need to do their jobs more effectively and efficiently. Amanda loves that she is able to have a positive impact on her coworkers' work lives, and is motivated by being part of an industry that improves the quality of life for others.
“Looking on the bright side” as the cliché goes, Amanda came to Enterprise, Oregon, and to Viridian after losing her home and business during the devastating 2018 Camp Fire in Paradise, California. Because of that fire, Amanda found the first place that's ever felt like home to her, and the fulfilling career she has at Viridian.
When Amanda is not busy data whispering, she enjoys backpacking and other outdoor adventures with her husband, Dave, and their gangly Daniff (Great Dane/Mastiff), Stormie. Amanda is also a master craftswoman and occupies herself with a variety of activities such as woodworking, learning to play musical instruments, baking, and spending time with her fluffball of a cat, Benji.
