Our Company

Viridian Management, Inc. is a full service property management organization which specializes in multifamily affordable housing. The principle owners and key management personnel bring to the table twenty-five years of industry experience, including broad knowledge of compliance regulation with Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), USDA Rural Development Multifamily Housing, project-based and tenant-based HUD Section 8 and the HOME Program, as well as federal, state and local regulation pertaining to Fair Housing and Landlord-Tenant law. Team credentials include HUD, USDA RD and Tax Credit certifications as well as the Credential for Green Property Management. Key personnel pursue industry accreditations and specialized trainings to remain current in affordable housing regulation and management practices. With an established foundation in the industry and a progressive vision, Viridian Management offers expert property stewardship and smart technology use while employing conservative financial practices to increase profitability.

Viridian Management originated from affordable housing leader Chrisman Development and Management, Inc. Due to the strong and disciplined success of the reputable multifamily housing company, the need arose to separate the property management and the development divisions to ensure that both companies could focus on their core competencies. Viridian Management, Inc. began operating as a separate entity on January 1st, 2012.

Currently managing 120 properties with over 4,000 affordable units located in thirty counties throughout Oregon, Washington, & Idaho, Viridian Management has extensive knowledge in the area of affordable housing management. Specific Tax Credit and affordable housing management experience includes:
