“Keep On Keeping On”


At her home, you're likely to find Marsha Moore engaged in a DIY project like refinishing old furniture, building a garden bed with her kids, taking apart her dryer or even cleaning the air condenser coils in her car.  With ingenuity and a whole lot of tenacity, Marsha can tackle any project and do it well.  At work, the projects differ, but her approach is the same.  As Viridian's Compliance Manager, Marsha takes great satisfaction in pursuing new challenges, figuring out how to do a job right and taking a project from start through completion.

Since she started with Viridian in 2010, Marsha has held a variety of positions and gained valuable insight into the innerworkings of the company and the industry.  Personally committed to principles of integrity and accountability, she leads her team in preserving Viridian's high standards in compliance with affordable housing regulations.  Her responsibilities include: verifying income certifications, training remote compliance specialists, reviewing audit results and coordinating lease-ups.  Marsha's expertise in her field allows her to streamline various compliance processes to best meet program requirements. 

Marsha is a member of the National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).  Her credentials include: Green Property Management (CGPM), NAA Education Institute Housing Compliance Manager for RD (HCM-R), Zeffert and Associates Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO) and NAHMA Housing Certified Professional (HCCP).

What Marsha loves most about her job is that no day looks the same.  While that can often be challenging, she “keeps on keeping on” by working hard, continuing steadfast through demanding situations and striving to do it all with integrity, laughter and joy.
